Today, Thursday, the US Air Force launched raids on the Al-Jabbana area, west of Hodeidah, according to sources for Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath channels. These strikes come in light of escalating tensions in the region, as the Houthis announced that they had carried out a drone attack on Tel Aviv, although there was no official confirmation from the Israeli authorities.
In a related context, the Israeli army announced the interception of a “suspicious air target” off central Israel during the night, without additional details. The Houthis also revealed on Wednesday that they had targeted military sites inside Israel with three Quds 5 cruise missiles.
Since November, the Houthis have continued to launch missile and drone attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea, which they consider to be linked to Israel. On the other hand, the United States and Britain responded to these attacks by bombing Houthi sites in areas under their control inside Yemen.
It is noteworthy that Israeli raids on two ports and power stations in Hodeidah, last Sunday, resulted in the death of five people and the injury of 57 others, according to what was announced by the Houthi spokesman.
