The Houthi group announced, on Thursday evening, that it had targeted a British oil tanker with a drone boat in the Red Sea.
In details, the group said in a statement that it targeted the oil tanker “CORDELIA MOON,” as the group published pictures and scenes documenting the direct strike that targeted the tanker.

The leader of the Houthis in Yemen, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, said on Thursday that they had targeted 188 ships supporting Gaza in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean since last November, according to Russia Today.
He added that the United States and Israel are seeking to escalate the aggression against the Yemeni people, as the Israeli and American raids on Yemen this week amounted to 39 raids.
Al-Houthi stressed that "targeting Hodeidah by the Israeli and American enemy will not stop their operations and their jihad continues."
The Houthi group announced, last Sunday, that Israel had targeted, with several raids, two ports and two power stations in Hodeidah Governorate, killing 6 people and wounding dozens.
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the Houthis have targeted, with missiles and drones, Israeli cargo ships or those linked to them in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea. They have also targeted Tel Aviv and a number of Israeli areas.
