The Israeli army announced the interception of a surface-to-surface missile launched from Yemen towards the center of the country on Monday, as it commemorated the first anniversary of the unprecedented attack launched by Hamas on the south of the Hebrew state.
The army initially reported a “surface-to-surface missile launched from Yemen,” which led to sirens sounding in central Israel, before announcing in a second statement that the missile had been “successfully” intercepted.
