Four years have passed since the brutal assassination of the young man, Aiban Al-Ghazali, in the city of Aden, amid a state of impunity for the killers.

The martyr's guardians renewed, in a statement, their demands for the competent authorities to arrest the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

The statement indicated that the crime was carried out by the son of the commander of the Fourth District and a number of his companions, and that the perpetrator used his influence to prevent the course of justice and obstruct investigations. The statement called on the Public Prosecutor to intervene urgently and resolve the case, and to direct the security services to implement arrest warrants issued against the perpetrators.

The text of the statement read:-

The fourth anniversary of the killing of the martyr of treachery and betrayal, the martyr / Aiban Al-Ghazali, who was killed by the so-called Ali Fadl Hassan Al-Omari, the son of the Commander of the Fourth District, and with the participation of some members of the Guard of the Commander of the Fourth District. On the date of 10/13/2020, as he passed the city line. Inmaa was heading to his home, and the martyr Aiban Al-Ghazali was surprised by a force belonging to the commander of the Fourth District, led by his son, called Ali Fadl Hassan...so that this force intercepted our son’s path, arrested him, and killed him directly in cold blood and without any justification...which obstructed the progress of the investigation and prosecution process from Before Fadl Hassan Al-Omari, Commander of the Fourth District. Using all his authoritarian energies to influence and disrupt the investigation and prosecution process... and not responding to the handover of his son and the rest of the participants in the crime... which led to the issuance of coercive arrest warrants for the son of the district commander and the rest of the participants in the murder... by the Buraiqa Prosecution... and even At this moment, and four years have passed since the crime, the security and judicial authorities in Aden have not fulfilled their security and judicial duty to deter these killers and arrest them so that they may receive the punishment for what they committed in this crime...and we, as guardians of the blood of the martyr who was betrayed by him...we address thus.

1--We renew our demands to all security and judicial authorities in Aden to arrest the killer of our son, called Ali Fadl Hassan Al-Omari, and the rest of the members of the Guard of the Commander of the Fourth District who participated in the crime..

2--We address our appeal to the Public Prosecutor, Judge Qaher Mustafa, to resolve the matter and direct him with strict orders to the security forces to carry out the forcible arrest of the so-called Ali Fadl Hassan and the rest of the participants in the crime. 3--Our message to the Commander of the Fourth Region tells him that power and tyranny will not last for you...and Arabs will not die unless they are combined..
