Yemen's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah Al-Saadi, reviewed today, with the Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, the political developments, economic and humanitarian conditions, and efforts to bring peace to Yemen and enhance security and stability in the region.
Ambassador Al-Saadi reaffirmed the Yemeni government’s commitment to the peace path and its keenness to support all regional and international efforts aimed at ending the conflict and achieving a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace that meets the aspirations of the Yemeni people in accordance with the terms of reference for the agreed upon political solution.
The UN envoy will present, tomorrow, Tuesday, a briefing before the Security Council at its monthly session on the situation in Yemen.
