Mudiyah District in Abyan Governorate witnessed this evening, Wednesday, a terrorist attack targeting a military patrol belonging to the southern forces, resulting in the burning of the vehicle and the injury of a number of soldiers.

According to local sources, the attack was carried out by terrorist elements targeting the patrol of the 103rd Brigade near the village of Al-Baqira, located east of the city of Modiya. The sources confirmed that the attack came at a time when the patrol was performing its usual duty in the area.

Initial information indicated that the incident resulted in the injury of some soldiers, while additional forces rushed to the site of the incident to follow developments in the situation and search for the terrorist elements involved in the attack.
