American diplomat: The Houthis must give priority to peace

Acting US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs, John Bass, called for pressure on the Houthis to stop the attacks and give priority to peace in Yemen.
This came during a meeting with Bass, the UN Special Envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg.
According to a tweet by the US State Department on the “X” platform, a fruitful conversation was held at the US State Department headquarters.
Bass touched on the urgent need to ensure the release of UN, embassy and NGO staff detained by the Houthis.
