The leader of the Houthi militia says that his group is ready for any American and Israeli escalation in Yemen

The leader of the Houthis, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, said that they are ready for any possible escalation from America and Israel, indicating the continued support of the Gaza Strip in light of the ongoing Israeli war since October 7, 2023.
He stated during a speech on Thursday evening that “the Yemen Front continues to support and maintain its position towards Gaza, and has not yielded or backed down despite the American, Israeli and British pressure and aggression.”
Al-Houthi added, "We are on a practical path in which we prepare for any level of escalation that the United States and Israel resort to."
He continued, "Our naval operations (against ships), the bombardment of the Israeli enemy with missiles, and the marches into occupied Palestine continue."
He considered that “at the height of the battle and with what we are witnessing of the terrible Zionist crime, our front is present, continuous and active.”
And “in solidarity with Gaza,” which has been subjected to a devastating Israeli war with American support since October 7, 2023, the Houthis have been targeting, with missiles and drones, Israeli cargo ships or those linked to them in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean. They are also carrying out attacks with missiles and drones on Israel, Including operations targeting Tel Aviv.
Since the beginning of this year, a US-led coalition has launched raids that it says target “Houthi sites” in various regions of Yemen in response to their naval attacks, which has been met with a response from them from time to time.
As Washington and London intervened and tensions took an escalating turn last January, the Houthis announced that they now considered all American and British ships among their military targets.
