In the meeting, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed the keenness of the Council and the government to continuously communicate with the private sector and the business community as a leader of the development path in various sectors.
The Chairman of the Leadership Council and member of the Council stressed the role of the private sector in supporting the national economy, and its capable interventions in alleviating the human suffering exacerbated by the Houthi terrorist attacks on oil installations and international shipping lines.
In this context, Wahab Al-Alimi called for the role of the commercial sector in supporting the government’s efforts to curb inflation, maintain service and commodity stability, improve the position of the national currency, and limit the repercussions of the monetary division imposed by the Houthi militias as an economic war card.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council presented a matrix of coordinated measures with all authorities to accelerate the implementation of the economic rescue plan, and take the necessary measures to contain the general budget deficit, deter currency speculators, monitor markets and prevent monopoly, in order to limit the side effects of price fluctuations on living conditions. .
At the meeting, the Chairman of the Leadership Council stressed the keenness of the Council and the government to provide all facilities to the private sector, strengthen its leading role in the development process, and achieve economic stability and food security in the country.
