The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Shaye’ al-Zindani, confirmed that the Yemeni government is dealing seriously and positively with all efforts aimed at achieving a comprehensive political settlement, based on the approved terms of reference and UN Security Council resolutions.

This came during Al-Zindani’s meeting with the Deputy Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Sarhad Fattah, where the latest developments on the Yemeni scene were discussed and the UN envoy’s movements were evaluated to advance the peace process in the country.

Al-Zindani praised the role of the UN envoy, stressing the keenness of the Yemeni political leadership to support regional and international initiatives to achieve a comprehensive political settlement that ends the crisis, according to the Yemeni News Agency “Saba”.
