Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council and Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met this evening in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, with the President of the Southern National Coalition and businessman Sheikh Ahmed Saleh Al-Issa, in the first meeting between the two men since the formation of the coalition.
The meeting discussed the latest developments on the national scene, a number of issues with an economic dimension, and ways to combine the efforts of the public and private sectors to confront the difficult circumstances that the country is going through.
The meeting also reviewed the overall efforts made to strengthen the southern national alignment and unify visions in a way that enhances coordination and communication between the various southern national forces in preparation for the upcoming elections.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Murad Al-Halmi, Chairman of the Economic and Service Assistant for the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, and Dr. Muhammad Bamqa, Secretary-General of the Southern National Coalition
