The Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari, met today, Wednesday, with the Deputy Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Sarhad Fattah, and his accompanying delegation in the capital, Aden.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the Yemeni arena and the continued attacks by the Houthi terrorist militia on commercial ships and international shipping routes in light of developments in the regional situation.
The meeting also touched on the file of the kidnapped and detainees and their suffering in the prisons of the terrorist Houthi militia, where Lieutenant General Al-Daari reaffirmed the government’s position to release all for all, which the terrorist Houthi militia is constantly working to obstruct.
The Minister of Defense drew attention to the government’s position and its positive response to regional and international efforts to achieve peace at a time when the terrorist Houthi militia is turning against all agreements and covenants before its ink dries, as an extension of the Iranian regime’s approach to piety and breaking covenants.
