In the first response from the Presidential Council to an incident targeting Saudi soldiers in the First Military Region, the Presidential Command Council confirmed that it would take the necessary measures regarding targeting Saudi soldiers who were killed and wounded in the city of Sayun in Hadramaut Governorate.
This came during a condolence telegram sent by a member of the Presidential Command Council, Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, to the Joint Operations Command of the Saudi Ministry of Defense at the location of two soldiers from the Saudi forces in the first military zone in the city of Sayun.
Al-Bahsani expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of such actions, which affected soldiers from the Arab coalition forces and led to the death of two soldiers and the injury of others.
The member of the Presidential Command Council praised the efforts of the Arab coalition forces during the war against the Houthi group and terrorist organizations in Yemen, in addition to their efforts to support the Presidential Command Council and the government.
Earlier, the Hadhramaut Valley Police announced that a financial reward had been offered to a deserter soldier involved in the killing and wounding of three Saudi soldiers at the headquarters of the Arab Coalition Forces in the First Military District in Sayun.
The Security and Police Department in Wadi and Sahara offered a financial reward of 30 million Yemeni riyals to anyone who arrests or provides information about the soldier, “Muhammad Saleh Al-Arousi.”
