The Committee for Determining the Specifications, Requirements and Prices of Pilgrimage Services, which was formed pursuant to the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Endowments and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Aida Shabiba, continued its field surveys of companies and entities pledging to provide pilgrim services for the tenth day in a row, with the aim of selecting and providing the best services in quality, price and competition. He added that the committee seeks, through this survey, to identify companies capable of providing integrated and diverse services that meet the needs of pilgrims, and contribute to providing a comfortable and safe environment for them to perform their rituals with ease and ease. The committee held an extensive meeting with a number of owners and managers of hotel companies and catering companies, where a frank dialogue took place about the challenges that faced the sector in recent years, and future aspirations to improve the services provided to pilgrims.
The representatives of the committee informed the hotel companies and catering service providers of the developments required by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, as well as the requirements set by the Hajj and Umrah sector of the Yemeni Ministry of Endowments and Guidance.
At the conclusion of the visit, the committee conducted a field tour to inspect one of the hotels, with the aim of assessing the capacity and services available in it, and studying the possibility of renting an integrated hotel to receive Yemeni pilgrims before and after performing the Hajj rituals.
