In a shocking incident that reflects the extent of the suffering experienced by the wounded, the wounded soldier Muhammad Rajeh Thabet Nasser, from Mashala in Yafa’ in Lahj Governorate, announced that he had offered his kidney for sale to cover the costs of his treatment.
In an emotional message he posted on social media, Muhammad said: “May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you. I am the wounded Muhammad Rajeh Thabet Nasser. I was hit by a sniper’s bullet in the head during my service on the Karsh Front under the command of Brigadier General Mukhtar al-Nubi, which led to paralysis of the neck.” On my side, I now live in a wheelchair, and I am tired of demanding travel and treatment. It has been seven years that I have been in this situation, and I have not received the support I need, and I have not even received my military number It is given to me.”
