A US aircraft, suspected to be a "drone", launched an air strike targeting a car carrying experts from the "missile force" of the Houthi militia in central Yemen.
Yemeni military sources told "Erem News" that the raid targeted the experts, whose nationalities are not yet known, while they were traveling in a civilian car from the Al-Sawmaa District, southeast of Al-Bayda, to the Makairas District, south of the governorate, which is under the control of the Houthis on the border adjacent to the Abyan Governorate.
The sources reported that the mountain highlands in the Mukayras District have been used as a military platform to launch modified ballistic missiles towards ships passing in the waters of the Gulf of Aden, since late last year.
The mountain highlands of the Mukayras District are approximately 60 kilometers away from the waters of the Gulf of Aden, and are separated from it by Abyan Governorate, which is located within the areas under the control of the internationally recognized government in the south of the country.
For its part, media outlets affiliated with the Houthi militia said that an American drone launched two raids on the districts of Dhi Na’im and Al-Sawmah, south and southeast of Al-Bayda Governorate, without indicating the nature of the targeted sites.
Since the beginning of this week, American fighters have intensified their qualitative air strikes on ground warehouses used by the Houthi militia to manufacture and store missiles and drones, in the capital, Sanaa, Amran, and Saada.
At dawn today, Tuesday, American forces targeted three preventive raids on military targets belonging to the Houthis in the “Al-Faza” area in Al-Tuhayta District, southwest of Hodeidah Governorate, overlooking the waters of the Red Sea
