The head of the Hays Court of First Instance in Hodeidah Governorate, Judge Amir Mansour, said that the court decided more than 300 civil and criminal cases within a year of resuming its work.
Judge Amir Mansour added that the court received 400 cases, stressing that the restoration and self-repair efforts contributed to improving administrative and judicial performance.
Judge Amir Mansour appreciated the role of the Supreme Judicial Council and the judicial and local authorities in Hodeidah Governorate, and their support and continuous efforts in consolidating the foundations of the judiciary and restoring the prestige of the state.
During the past five years, the court was forcibly closed due to the war imposed by the Iranian Houthi militia, and after the liberation of the entire Hais countryside, its work was resumed, allowing citizens to proceed with litigation and adjudication of their civil and criminal cases and disputes
