The complaint called on the Public Prosecutor to work to address this important file, in cooperation and coordination with the relevant authorities, most notably the Ministry of Finance, and to refer violators of the law to the competent prosecution and courts.
The Correction Movement said that what is happening is a full-fledged process of corruption, theft, and waste of public money, at a time when the country is suffering from difficult and complex economic conditions, a lack of necessary services, and the government’s inability to fulfill its obligations to pay the salaries of employees and retirees on a regular basis.

With reference to the above topic, we inform you that we, in the National Movement for Correction and Construction, sent to you, last Saturday, a report regarding the private financial accounts of a number of state institutions in the liberated areas, which were opened in exchange companies and private banks in violation of the law, as well as the refusal to These institutions, and a number of governors of governorates that have been liberated from supplying state revenues to the Central Bank in the capital, Aden, including a number of oil and gas governorates, have been doing so for several years, and this is considered a crime by Crimes of corruption and wasting public money are punishable by law, at a time when the liberated regions and cities are suffering from a serious and unprecedented deterioration of the local currency exchange rate, which has created stifling economic and service crises, and an insane rise in the prices of goods, in light of the low and irregular exchange rates. The salaries of employees and retirees are low, which threatens to expand the scope of famine and chaos, as well as a permanent halt to the wheel of real development in the country.
