The local authorities in the capital, Aden, were directed, this morning, Wednesday, to raise the readiness of the emergency committee to prepare to confront the possible effects of tropical disturbance in the Arabian Sea.
This directive came based on a warning issued by the Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, and a circular issued by the operations of the capital, Aden.
In a warning weather bulletin issued last Monday, meteorologists warned via satellite images of the possibility of thunderstorms in the capital, Aden, on Thursday and Friday.
The weather forecast warned citizens of the need to avoid being in the depths of valleys and flood paths, stay away from electricity poles and billboards, and turn off phones during thunderstorms.
These directives come as part of a series of precautionary measures to ensure the safety of citizens and reduce damage resulting from weather fluctuations.
