The UAE Ministry of Defense mourned a soldier who was martyred as a result of a critical injury he suffered in Yemen in 2015.

The Emirates News Agency reported that the UAE Ministry of Defense “mourned the martyr of duty, Sergeant 1 Muhammad Atiq Salem bin Salumah Al Khaili, who was critically injured during his participation in Operation Decisive Storm in 2015 in Yemen. He was under intensive care and became a martyr yesterday evening.”

The Ministry of Defense extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the martyr, asking God Almighty to cover him with His vast mercy, to dwell him in His spacious gardens, and to inspire his family with patience and solace.
