The Governor of Lahj, Major General Ahmed Turki, stressed in a joint meeting with the President of the Court of Appeal, Judge Naji Al-Yahri, the importance of stabilizing the judicial situation in Al-Hadd District, stressing the need to facilitate legal transactions for citizens.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of Lahj Governorate, Brigadier General Abdel Fattah Al-Hujaili, the President of the Al-Hadd Court of First Instance, Judge Abdullah Mahdi, and the directors of the police, the Central Agency for National Security, and the zakat duties. The meeting dealt with judicial affairs and judicial files related to the Al-Hadd Yafa District.
The meeting denied the allegations circulated by some social media pages and news sites about the existence of disagreements between the Court of Appeal and the Hadd Court of First Instance, stressing that the two courts work in complete harmony in the spirit of one team.
Governor Turki noted the peculiarity of Al-Hadd District as it is located on the contact line with the terrorist Houthi militias and the strong presence of the tribal factor there, pointing out the necessity of harnessing all capabilities to consolidate the security and social situation in the district.
