Al-Alimi seeks the help of Ben Mubarak's former opponents and promises them appointments as ambassadors to overthrow him

The political arena in Yemen is witnessing increasing tensions between Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, Prime Minister, and Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.
Information indicates that the targeting of Bin Mubarak by Al-Elimi and his office staff is not a new matter, but rather goes back to the beginning of Bin Mubarak’s tenure as prime minister.
According to informed sources, Al-Elimi was opposed to the idea of appointing Ben Mubarak to the position of Prime Minister, but pressure from the United States and Britain and the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led to his appointment.
However, it appears that Alimi is currently seeking to oust Ben Mubarak from the political scene through media campaigns run from the office of the Presidency of the Republic.
Reports indicate that these campaigns are seeking the help of former opponents of Ben Mubarak, such as Moin Abdel Malik and Mouti Dammaj, to whom Al-Alimi promised appointments as ambassadors.
In light of these political conflicts, leaders ignore the daily suffering of citizens and their inability to meet their basic needs.
At the conclusion of the statements, citizens express their concern about the current situation and demand improvement of the deteriorating living, service and economic conditions, instead of being preoccupied with settling political scores.
