American website: The Houthis are part of an anti-Washington coalition with Russian support, and their danger is increasing

An American website said that the Houthis will pose an early challenge to President-elect Donald Trump, stressing that they have become an increasing threat to the interests of the United States of America.
The Sun website explained that the Houthis may be just a cog in a growing anti-American coalition, noting that Russia has recruited Yemeni mercenaries to fight in Ukraine, and that the Houthis are expected to receive new and advanced weapons.
He pointed out that the Houthis' disruption of trade in the Red Sea, with the support of Iran and Russia, is a powerful weapon aimed at weakening and confronting Washington.
In addition, a Western analysis said that the United States and its partners should be concerned about continued cooperation between the Houthis and Russia.
The Atlantic Council added that this could lead to an expansion of the Houthis’ ability to threaten international shipping as well as US assets and its allies in the region.
The International Maritime Organization of the United Nations documented sixty-nine incidents against ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden region over the past year.
It explained in its report that these incidents occurred during the period from the nineteenth of November two thousand twenty-three until the twenty-fifth of last November.
It indicated that the documented attacks include three criteria, including confirmation by flag states, the Houthis declaring responsibility for the attack, or reporting from the navy or coastal states.
