The Supreme Medical Council discusses the reports of its committees

The Supreme Medical Council discussed, in its eleventh meeting, today, Sunday, in the capital, Aden, under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Council, Dr. Omar Zain, the reports of the committees of classification, evaluation, equivalence, registration, license to practice, investigation, and accountability, and the reports of the committees of the governorates of Taiz, Ma’rib, Hadramaut, the Coast, and the Valley.
The meeting recommended the formation of two committees in Ma’rib and Shabwa, based on the visit of the Council President to the two governorates.
The meeting also discussed the formation and nomination of the Equivalency Committee for Qualifications and Health Specialties, the formation and nomination of the Examinations Committee in the Council, and the preparation of the examination guide, in addition to the formation and nomination of members of the Professional Ethics and Academic Accreditation Committees.
The President of the Council stressed the importance of concerted efforts in strengthening the institutional building of the Council with its various committees, and moving it towards the goals for which it was established... praising the efforts made by the Council members during the past period.
