Hard work swallows up the Houthis.. The militias acknowledge the losses of the “revenge attack”

Nearly 12 days after its attack against National Resistance positions on the Al-Kadha Front, west of Taiz, Yemen, the Houthi militias admitted their heavy loss.
The Houthi militia published on its media that it lost 31 of its fighters during battles with the forces of the internationally recognized government last November, without indicating where they were killed.
A Yemeni military source said in an interview with Al-Ain News that the majority of those killed by the Houthi militia fell on the Al-Kadha front, which swallowed up many members of the coup plotters, while others fell in a rebel attack on the Al-Dhalea fronts.
The source explained that the deaths of the Houthi militia are much higher than what was revealed on its media in order to reduce its losses, stressing that the National Resistance artillery destroyed a military barracks on the Al-Kadha front at the moment of a field leadership meeting of the militia with 8 members of its followers.
Retaliation attack
The source indicated that the precise artillery strike killed everyone inside the militia’s military barracks, prompting it to launch the most violent “retaliatory attack” on the sites of the National Resistance, which were waiting for the coup plotters.
He confirmed that the direct clashes that took place on the night of November 23 and 24 left many dead among the ranks of the Houthi militia, which “retired, dragging the tails of defeat,” while the National Resistance mourned a number of its fighters.
The Houthi militia recently announced the fall of 31 of its fighters. Most of them were officers, during the battles on the internal fronts, and it was claimed that they were killed during the period (1 and 30) November 2024.
According to what media sources reported, the militias held funerals for the bodies of their dead in the capital, Sana’a, and Hajjah Governorate, while they tried to conceal the place and time of their deaths, and limited themselves to indicating that they had fallen “on the fronts,” in reference to the Al-Kadha and Al-Dhalea fronts.
Militia deaths
Sources indicate that the Houthi militia deaths last November represented a 6% decrease, compared to the previous month (October), which witnessed the fall of 33 fighters of the Iranian-backed group.
It showed that 94% of the militia deaths last month were field commanders and held high military ranks, including an officer with the rank of brigadier general, another with the rank of lieutenant colonel, 6 with the rank of major, 3 with the rank of captain, 13 with the rank of lieutenant, 5 assistants, and two individuals without ranks.< /p>
Since the beginning of 2024, the Houthi militias have admitted to the killing of 539 members; Among them, 494 fell in direct confrontations with the legitimate forces of the Presidential Council, while 45 others died in air strikes by American and British forces in response to their attacks on cargo ships.
Military and security sources told Al-Ain News that “more than 80 Houthis were killed by American bombing during September and October, including a number of field commanders operating from the missile forces and naval forces.”
The Houthi militias did not announce these losses and kept them strictly secret, keeping them among what they called “secret information” in the confrontation with America, according to the same sources
