The Yemeni Foreign Minister meets with the American envoy at the Manama Dialogue to discuss the situation in Yemen

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Shaye’ Al-Zindani, met today, on the sidelines of the twentieth session of the Regional Security Forum (Manama Dialogue), with the Special Envoy of the United States of America to Yemen, Tim Lenderking.
During the meeting, developments in the political, security and economic situation in Yemen were discussed, in addition to discussing the violations of the terrorist Houthi militia supported by the Iranian regime against the Yemeni people.
Minister Al-Zindani stressed the keenness of the Presidential Command Council to achieve peace and end the war, pointing out the Houthi militia’s evasion of implementing its obligations and its threat to the security of maritime navigation and international trade in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
For his part, the American envoy expressed his country’s support for the efforts made to end the war and achieve peace in Yemen.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Yemen to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ali Al-Ahmadi, the Deputy Head of the Minister’s Office Department, Ambassador Adel Al-Sheikh, and the Peninsula and Gulf Officer in the Minister’s Office, Counselor Alaa Afara.
