Guterres calls on the Houthis to immediately and unconditionally release humanitarian workers

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres called on the Houthi terrorist militia to immediately and unconditionally release humanitarian workers who were arbitrarily detained.
A statement issued today, Friday, affirmed that the continued arbitrary detention of dozens of other employees is unacceptable and constitutes a violation of international law and seriously hinders efforts to help millions of people in need, indicating that these actions are inconsistent with real participation in peace efforts.
The Secretary-General added that the United Nations, non-governmental organizations and other relevant international partners are working through all possible channels and authorities to ensure the immediate release of those arbitrarily detained.
