Today, a delegation from the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, led by a member of the Presidential Command Council, Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, was subjected to an assassination attempt in the Ma’rib Governorate, which is under the authority of the Brotherhood. 

According to local sources, during the armed attack, the head of the Political Bureau branch in Ibb, Kamel Al-Khoudani, was injured, while a number of members of the delegation suffered minor injuries. 

According to the sources, after undergoing treatment, Al-Khoudani left the hospital, where he stressed the continuity of efforts to enhance security and stability in the region. The security services continue to investigate the incident to determine the circumstances of the attack.
