A former military pilot was arrested in Sanaa because of his views in support of the Syrian revolution

Today, the Houthi militia arrested Colonel Captain Muqbil Al-Kumani, a former fighter pilot in the Yemeni army, from his home in Sanaa, which is under the group’s control. This arrest came against the backdrop of his views in support of the Syrian revolution and the fall of the Assad regime, which he published on his Facebook page.
Al-Komani had received accusations from the Houthis that he was a “fifth columnist,” after he expressed his regret about his financial situation and his transition from working as a military pilot to working as a farmer, after the Houthi militia took control of the state, confiscating employees’ salaries, and dismissing some from their jobs.
