It is very excellent that the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council descended on the governorates - for the purpose of what it called political awareness - as this indicates its awareness of the seriousness and extent of the state of popular discontent aggravated by its role in the disastrous political partnership and its association with the tragedy that people are experiencing, from the horrific deterioration of living conditions and on all levels to worse. Its situations, and in Yedo's situation with him, put the southern issue politically into the unknown, neglect and disappointment.

      Today, the STC is concerned with being frank with the people and the southern elite, and not turning these meetings into an occasion to continue misleading, justifying, evading responsibility, and re-marketing its failure and mistakes. People today have become more aware, which is impossible to ignore indefinitely. 

   Pointing the index finger at the Red Sea and distracting people from their real suffering and from the real opponent who is present for them in Aden and who was brought to them by the transitional government is a shameful and exposed trick.

   Today, he lies between two millstones: submission to the desires and orders of the coalition and its dictates and cunning, and the shameful immersion of its leaders in the swamp of corruption and plunder, and the growing popular resentment against him. Either he sides with the people oppressed by the tragic conditions that he is a partner in creating through his political participation with the corrupt and resentful forces that were the cause of the tragedy of the South, and he explains clearly, unequivocally and without deception exactly what the state of the Southern issue is today and where it is going, and what is his vision regarding the scenarios that all indicate that... This issue will only be the completion of a number on a questionable settlement table and an achievement on the agenda of partners and opponents alike, or it will continue to slide towards the deep abyss that awaits it. And to where Umm Qash’am left her bag.
