Dr. Yasser Al-Yafei, in a post on his Facebook page, expressed his dissatisfaction with the current conditions in the south, stressing that the southern people are paying a heavy price for their victories and liberation from the Houthis.

Al-Yafei accused the legitimate government of failing to achieve the aspirations of the southern people, pointing out that bringing in figures who had ties to the Houthis to assume power in the south was a grave mistake. He stressed that this government was unable to normalize life in the southern governorates and did not fulfill any of the promises it made to the southerners.

Al-Yafei also criticized the Southern Transitional Council, expressing his disappointment in its inability to change the bitter reality in the south. He pointed out that the Council was unable to break the conspiracy being hatched against the South, despite the concessions it made.

Al-Yafei called for the necessity of reconsidering the policies adopted towards the south, warning of the deterioration of the situation if things continue this way.
