The Chief of Staff discusses cooperation and coordination with the Commander of European Naval Operations “ASPEDS”

Chief of the General Staff - Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz, discussed with the Commander of the European Naval Operation "ASPEEDS", Rear Admiral Vassilios Grayparis, aspects of cooperation and joint coordination in the military field and maritime security.
The meeting, which came on the sidelines of the Chief of Staff’s participation in the 20th edition of the Manama Dialogue Conference Forum, discussed the threats of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias to international shipping lines in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden, which destabilize regional and global security and exacerbate suffering.
