The President of the Supreme Judicial Council meets with the Committee for Handling Revenge Issues in Al-Hidd Yafa District

The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Mohsen Yahya Taleb, met today with the committee formed to address issues of revenge between a number of tribes in the Al-Hadd Yafa District.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Attorney General, Judge Qaher Mustafa, the Minister of Justice, Judge Badr Al-Arda, and the head of the Judicial Inspection Authority, Judge Nazim Bawazir, the head and members of the committee provided a detailed explanation of the nature of the work and the achievements they have achieved during the past period, in addition to the most prominent challenges they face. In dealing with revenge issues.
The President of the Judicial Council, the Public Prosecutor, the Minister of Justice, and the Head of Inspection praised the committee’s efforts and provided them with some necessary advice and guidance.
The President of the Judicial Council stressed the importance of the efforts made by the committee in achieving reconciliation between the conflicting parties, stressing the necessity of limiting the cases presented before the committee and coordinating with the court and the prosecution in the cases pending before the judiciary, and addressing the interconnection of those cases with the cases presented before the committee and developing solutions. The necessary legal requirements so that there is no conflict in procedures and solutions.
The meeting was attended by the President of the Lahj Court of Appeal, Judge Naji Al-Yahri, the President of the Appeal Prosecution, Judge Abdul Hamid Haitham, and the Director General of the Lahj Governorate Police, Brigadier General Nasser Al-Shouhti.
