After the Sultanate of Oman...the second Arab country preparing to expel the leaders of the Houthi group present in its territory

Informed sources revealed that the United States asked the Iraqi government to close the Houthi group’s office in Baghdad, which manages coordination with the Popular Mobilization Forces. It was also reported that Washington exerted similar pressure on the Sultanate of Oman to expel the Houthi delegation from its territory.
According to the sources of the Yemeni Al-Mashhad website, the Sultanate of Oman gave the Houthi delegation, led by the group’s official spokesman, Muhammad Abdul Salam, a few days to leave its territory. The sources explained that this sudden decision comes as a result of American and international pressure on Muscat, which was hosting the Houthi delegation for negotiations.
In conjunction with these developments, sources indicated that the Houthi leadership in Sanaa is conducting extensive contacts with Omani officials, in an attempt to persuade the Sultanate to retract its decision. However, the decision appears to have been made, amid signs that the international community is increasingly pressing to isolate the group and hold it accountable for its military escalation and threat to international shipping.
These moves come in the context of a series of international measures against the Houthi group, which faces accusations of escalating regional tensions and implementing an Iranian agenda that threatens security and stability in the region
