Al-Kathiri reviews the activity of the National Society for Scientific Research and Sustainable Development

Professor Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council and President of the National Assembly, met today, Tuesday, with Dr. Thabet Salem Al-Azab, President of the National Society for Scientific Research and Sustainable Development.
During the meeting, Al-Kathiri was briefed by Dr. Al-Azab on the association’s activity during the current year 2024 AD, and the courses it held in various governorates of the south, which targeted a number of young people and farmers in multiple fields, such as agriculture, livestock, laboratories, and other fields.
Al-Kathiri also listened to a brief explanation of the projects, proposals and visions that were prepared for the coming year 2025 AD, with the aim of meeting the needs of the local market and promoting sustainable development, including the home agriculture project in the capital, Aden, the fish farming project, and the production of agricultural organic fertilizer and fish organic fertilizer, in addition to To establish the Aden Center for Culture and Heritage, which will include all heritage and culture works, and the tourist villages project in Amran and Ras Al-Ara.
Al-Kathiri praised the activities carried out by the association and the efforts made to promote sustainable development, develop youth activities, and support institutions that contribute to improving society.
The meeting was attended by Professor Marouf Uqba, consultant to the National Society for Scientific Research and member of the Advisory Council of the Ministry of Oil, and Dr. Amal Saleh Saad Rajeh, associate professor at the College of Arts at the University of Aden, and member of the National Society for Scientific Research.
