The security services in Abyan Governorate, after tremendous efforts and directives from the Acting Director of Security of the Governorate, Colonel Ali Hafin Al-Marqashi, were able today to free a Russian citizen hours after he was kidnapped by elements outside the law and order in the Al-Majalah area, Al-Mahfad District.

The Russian citizen was liberated hours after the Abyan Security Department received the report, after which the security forces, represented by the emergency forces and their commander, Captain/Khaled Saleh Muhaim, cordoned off the place where intelligence information indicated the hostage was located, which is a place in a mountainous area in the Al-Majalah area, Al-Mahfad District, to be completed. After that, the hostage was released, a group of kidnappers were arrested, and they were referred for investigation to find out the motives for these alien acts. 

In addition to the security forces, a force from the 2nd and 3rd Support and Support Brigades and the Commander of the Al-Mahfad Resistance, Sheikh Saeed Mahshak Al-Hanashi, participated in this mission

With this, the Abyan Security Administration warns anyone who has the right to harm the security of Abyan Governorate through such actions that are not approved by Sharia and the law.
