Countering two Houthi attacks in Hodeidah and Lahj

Last night, government forces responded to two attacks launched by the Houthi militia on its positions in the western and Lahj governorates of Hodeidah.
A military source said that the forces of the 7th Giants Brigade, late last night, responded to an attack launched by the Houthi militia on its positions on the "Dabbas" front, north of Hays, south of Hodeidah.
The source added that clashes broke out between the two sides following the attack, during which government forces were able to confront the attack and inflict losses on the militia in equipment and lives.
On the Karsh front, north of Lahj Governorate, clashes broke out between government forces and the Houthi militia in the Hamala sector, in which various types of weapons were used.
According to military sources, the clashes left a number of dead and wounded among the Houthis, and the death of a soldier and the injury of another among the government forces.
These attacks come as part of a wave of escalation by the Houthi militia and hostilities carried out by the militia on various fighting fronts, for weeks.
