With financing from the World Bank, asphalt work begins on the main street in the city of Al-Shehr in Hadhramout
The implementing agency has begun asphalt work on the main street of Al-Shahr, Hadhramout Governorate, which is considered part of the international line linking (Aden - Hadhramout - Al-Mahra - Amman) within the second urban emergency project, funded by the World Bank through the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and under the management and supervision of the Project Implementation Unit. Funded internationally by the Road Maintenance Fund - main center in Aden.
The technical teams of the implementing agency, Badkhan General Contracting Company, began the asphalt work, which comes within 5 targeted streets with a total length of 3,921 kilometers.
The project consultant, Dr. Ali Babalghaith, confirmed that the works are being implemented according to the required specifications and quality in accordance with the standards of the World Bank and the United Nations Office.
It is noteworthy that the technical teams are also carrying out maintenance and rehabilitation work on the street extending from Al-Falah apartments to the sea.
