Hebrew media said, on Saturday, that it is preparing to launch a major attack in Yemen, and is trying to push other countries to participate in the strike on the positions of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
The official broadcaster, Kan, quoted officials as saying: “We are preparing for a new strike in Yemen, and we will try to involve other countries in the attack.”
The officials stated that Israel is coordinating “closely” with Washington, and asked it to increase its strikes on the Houthis.
The officials confirmed that they conveyed a message to the Western coalition in the Red Sea, that the Houthi attacks “undermine regional stability,” stressing the need to “escalate the attacks by Israel and the US Central Command.”
