The Secretary-General of the Liberation Front Party, Sheikh Fahd Al-Daari, discussed, on December 19, 2024, with the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy to Yemen, the necessity of resuming the export of oil and gas to achieve stability in Yemen’s economy, improve access to energy, and ensure that all Yemenis benefit from the revenues.
p>The meeting stressed that economic measures are crucial to building confidence and enabling political and security progress.
The meeting stressed fair representation, peace rooted in justice, and the disarmament of non-governmental actors. They called on the international community to make efforts to support the internationally recognized Yemeni government, prevent weapons smuggling, and ensure the state’s sovereignty.
This meeting comes within a series of political dialogues held by the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy to Yemen, with representatives of the Liberation Front Party, the Change Bloc, the Yemeni Unionist Rally Party, the Arab National Socialist Baath Party, the Yemeni Solidarity Party, and the Free South Arab League.
