A Saudi newspaper said that Riyadh stands by Sana'a, is following with interest the development of current events in Yemen, and warns against the consequences of using violence and its dangerous repercussions on the security of the region.

Sabq newspaper published an article by its media advisor, Zaid Al-Khashmi, under the title “It never abandoned it.. “Riyadh stands by Sana’a”... support in the crisis and political solutions.”

She pointed out that “since the outbreak of the crisis in brotherly Yemen, Saudi Arabia has presented one initiative after another to find a comprehensive political solution with the consensus of all Yemeni factions in a way that supports the security and prosperity of brotherly Yemen and its people.”

The strength of Saudi-Yemeni relations confirms that what links the two countries is more than geography. It represents brotherhood and friendship between the two countries and a common destiny, strengthened by relations between Riyadh and Sanaa throughout history.

According to the newspaper, “Saudi Arabia cannot abandon its support for Yemen and all its components in light of previous achievements.”

She explained that “Saudi Arabia and the coalition provided the necessary political, economic and relief support for the success of the outcomes of the Yemeni-Yemeni consultations, by supporting the Yemeni leadership and providing a deposit to the Central Bank of Yemen.”

Riyadh also granted oil derivatives, and recently presented development projects and initiatives through the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, and continues to provide support to Yemen and the Yemeni people, according to the newspaper.
