The Aden Foundation for Science and Arts concluded today the training workshop on female genital mutilation, which comes within the framework of the campaign launched by the Humanitarian Access Organization in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund within the framework of adopting a national strategy to end violence against girls and female genital mutilation by 2030.
It was completed within two days. The participants were provided with information and knowledge about violence against women, and feedback was provided. The steps for managing cases of violence were presented, and they learned about how to manage the case, the importance of case management, and the steps Case management (presentation and participation, evaluation, intervention plan, implementation of the plan).
They also learned about female circumcision, the causes of circumcision, the topic of the survivor-centered approach, and the course of the case. Then a post-test was taken and presented to all participants.

She said that the women’s sector in the Ministry’s office always strives to emphasize the adoption of women’s issues. And rejecting violence against her, praising the role of the Aden Foundation for Arts and Sciences in adopting projects to combat violence against women.
She urged the participants in the workshop to actively contribute to standing by women, especially the issue of female genital mutilation and the marriage of minors, since most of the participants have authorities that can limit the spread of this phenomenon. .
The Aden Foundation for Arts and Sciences seeks to promote the culture of rejecting violence against girls through a drawing competition on the topic of violence against women and female genital mutilation next Saturday.
