The American command says it carried out precise strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen

US Central Command forces carried out multiple precision strikes against Iranian-backed Houthi targets in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and coastal sites controlled by the group, on December 30 and 31.
According to what the US command published on its page on the X-Fan website, the strikes, carried out by US Navy ships and aircraft, targeted a Houthi command and control facility in addition to advanced conventional weapons production and storage facilities, including missiles and drones. These facilities were used to carry out attacks against US Navy warships and merchant ships in the southern Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
US aircraft also destroyed a Houthi coastal radar site, a number of cruise missiles, and attack drones over the Red Sea. No casualties or damage to American personnel or equipment were recorded during these operations.
These strikes are part of US Central Command's efforts to reduce the influence of the Iran-backed Houthis, with the aim of protecting regional partners and ensuring the safety of military and commercial ships in the region.
