Operations against Israel
The Ansar Allah group (Houthis) announced that it would carry out 27 military operations against Israel in December 2024, in response to the Israeli war of annihilation on the Gaza Strip, and the “Zionist-American” attacks on Yemen, according to a report by the spokesman for the Ministry of Defense in the unrecognized Houthi government. internationally.
Since November 2023, the Houthis have begun targeting Israeli or related cargo ships in the Red Sea with missiles and drones “in solidarity with Gaza,” according to the group’s statements.
In response to these attacks, the United States and Britain began launching air strikes and missile attacks on Houthi sites in Yemen since the beginning of 2024.
The group responded by announcing that it now considered all American and British ships among its military targets, and by expanding its attacks to ships passing through the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean or anywhere its weapons reach.
With American support, the Israeli genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023 has resulted in about 154,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing persons, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly.
