The Houthi leader talks about the losses of the American-British strikes on the group's sites

The leader of the armed Houthi group said, on Thursday, that “the death toll from the American and British raids on the group’s sites reached 106, and about 314 people were injured, during the past year 2024.”
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi explained in a television speech to the group’s media, that “the American and British raids amounted to 931 raids, resulting in 106 deaths and 314 wounded.”
He also pointed out that “the Israeli aggression targeted (last) Thursday afternoon, with 22 raids, a number of civilian facilities, resulting in the death of 7 and the injury of 37 others.”
He said: “We are in an open war with the Israeli enemy. We target and strike it, and we targeted it with a very large number of missiles and drones.”
Israel launched an attack on civilian facilities in Yemen four times since last July 19, in response to raids by “Ansar Allah” deep into the occupied territories.
He continued: “This week’s operations include shooting down two MQ9 planes in Al Bayda and Marib. These planes are expensive and the Americans rely on them for reconnaissance and aggression.”
On January 12, 2024, a coalition of Washington and London began launching missile strikes and air strikes on Houthi targets, with the aim of obstructing their naval operations, which the Houthis claim are “in solidarity with Gaza.” The Houthis have also been aiming in parallel to strike targets deep inside Israel since October 2023.
