The capital, Aden, is preparing to host the First National Exhibition for Yafei Coffee, in its first edition, from 7 to 9 December 2023.
The exhibition aims to revive the historical identity of young coffee, and enhance its position as one of the best types of coffee in the world. It also aims to encourage the cultivation of young coffee, and to inform the world of the quality of this product.
Many governmental and private agencies, in addition to young coffee farmers, participate in the exhibition. The exhibition will include many events, such as trade fairs, scientific seminars, and artistic performances.
According to a statement issued by the Yafa Development Foundation, the organization organizing the exhibition, the exhibition will witness wide participation from Yafa coffee farmers, in addition to the participation of many government agencies, such as the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Tourism. Many private entities will also participate in the exhibition, such as coffee trading companies, food manufacturing companies, and tourism companies.
The activities that will be included in the exhibition include a commercial exhibition in which young coffee farmers will display their products, in addition to scientific seminars on the subject of growing and marketing young coffee, and artistic performances that highlight the importance of young coffee in Yemeni culture.

He added that the Yafea Development Foundation, represented by its staff, has made a hard and persistent effort for years to preserve the coffee tree, encourage its cultivation, and extract its official right as a national day to be celebrated, as it is part of authenticity and authentic youthful heritage, and a successful economic investment.
