Journalist and politician Salah Al-Saqladi said in a post on his Facebook page that the intensification of flights between Saudi Arabia and Iran, which began increasing recently after the normalization of relations between them, is considered further evidence of the Kingdom’s determination to turn the page on the war in Yemen.
Al-Saqladi indicated that Saudi Arabia is no longer thinking about resuming military operations, despite the pressure exerted by some local and Western powers to try to drag it into a conflict similar to what happened in Damascus.
He added: “When will the distraught people among our people learn that Saudi Arabia, like other countries that think with their minds and not with their emotions, puts the interests of its people above all else, even at the expense of alliances that may be futile?”
Al-Saqladi explained that betting on the unknown and the connection of the people’s future to the positions of others is considered a failure and disappointment, stressing that this approach may lead to a painful fate.
