Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, Head of the Political Commission, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, and Head of the Supervisory Committee of the Communication Teams and Promoting Political Awareness, met today in the capital, Aden, with the leaders and cadres of the Supreme Military Authority of the Southern Army and Security, and the Supreme Coordination Council for forcibly demobilized military, security, and civilian retirees.
p>During the meeting, Dr. Al-Khobaji welcomed sitting with the southern military leaders as they are the first lever for launching the peaceful southern movement, praising the great role played by military retirees since 1994 and in the stages of the southern revolution.
Dr. Al-Khobaji indicated that this meeting comes within the framework of political communication and field visits to enhance political awareness, consolidate the popular incubator, and strengthen southern unity to confront all challenges and threats.
Al-Khubaji explained that the results of the field visits of the political communication and awareness teams in the southern governorates will be reflected in future programs and work plans, stressing that all the opinions and observations that were presented during the meeting are of interest and appreciation to the southern political leadership.
Dr. Al-Khobaji touched on the latest developments in the political process sponsored by the United Nations, including the threats posed by the terrorist Houthi militia to the south and the region, and the importance of preparing for various scenarios.
Dr. Al-Khubaji briefed the audience on the results of the meetings of President Commander Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, including his recent visit to the United States of America, and his participation in the United Nations General Assembly meeting and the UN Security Council session.
p>During the opening of the doors for discussion and interventions, attendees praised this initiative, stressing the importance of repeating such meetings to listen to their concerns and aspirations, demanding that full consideration be given to the forcibly demobilized members of the southern army and security, with an emphasis on restoring revolutionary momentum and standing by the Southern Transitional Council as a legitimate bearer. For the cause of the people of the South, and its political leadership represented by President Commander Al-Zubaidi.
The attendees stressed the importance of building and organizing the southern military forces on the basis of a national doctrine, as a strategic gain for the cause of the people of the south on the ground and in the field.
