The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Hadhramaut, Mr. Saleh Abboud Al-Omqi, confirmed that the local authority, led by Governor Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, adopts permanent openness with all political forces, stressing that Hadhramaut cannot build except with all its people and political forces.  

Al-Omqi indicated in a press statement that the local authority welcomed the plan to normalize the situation in Hadramaut announced by the Presidential Leadership Council, considering it a step towards achieving part of the governorate’s legitimate rights.  

He stressed the readiness of the local authority to provide full support for the implementation of the plan, in a way that enhances development in all sectors of Hadhramaut (coast, valley, desert). He also pointed out the implementation of many projects over the past two years despite the conditions of war and economic crisis.  

At the conclusion of his statement, Al-Amqi expressed his thanks to the political leadership represented by Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi and members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and to the Arab coalition countries (Saudi Arabia and the UAE) for their continued support to Hadhramaut in the service and development aspects and efforts to maintain security and stability.
