Graduates of the second batch of the Military College, tagged with (Batch of Hope), appealed to the president and members of the Presidential Leadership Council for urgent intervention to pay their dues, provide them with justice, and strengthen them financially in accordance with Republican Decree No. (70) issued for implementation on February 14, 2024 AD, which stipulated their entitlement to promotion and Financial relief.
Graduates affiliated with the Ministry of Defense reported that nearly a year had passed since their graduation, their promotion to the rank of second lieutenant, and their completion of all official procedures, based on the memorandum submitted by the Ministry of Defense, which confirmed their right to personal armament and financial accommodation in accordance with the protocol followed by the Ministry.< /p>
The graduates indicated that despite completing their procedures and directing their files to the Financial Department, all their rights were suspended, which prevented the payment of their financial dues.
The graduates called on the Chairman and members of the Presidential Leadership Council to intervene urgently to look into their suffering and work to strengthen them financially, based on the Republican decision and the promotion decision issued regarding them, hinting at escalation as they deserve this financial relief in recognition of their efforts and legal entitlement... pointing out the difficulty of life’s requirements and their need. The urgency to provide for their families.
It is worth noting that this batch is the first since the Chairman and members of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Minister of Defense took power in Yemen, and their financial dues and arming have not been disbursed.
